The Securities Lending Industry Awards 2010 – the results are in

The inaugural Securities Lending Industry Awards dinner on 1^st July saw the great and the good of the industry come together to celebrate the biggest achievements of the past year.

Deutsche Bank was the big winner on the night, scooping three awards, including Best Equity Trading Capability – Multi-location Borrower.

Other success stories included eSecLending, UBS, Barclays Capital and Nomura, which each picked up two awards. The remaining prizes were shared between 11 firms with one a piece, including SunGard which was named Technology Provider of the Year.

The awards ceremony was hosted by GSL editor-in-chief Roy Zimmerhansl, while the crowd were also entertained by the anecdotes of the BBC’s Ian Robertson, who attended in his role as an ambassador for rugby children’s charity Wooden Spoon, which the event supported.
