SunGard appoints Chris Clark Astec Analytics VP for EMEA

Technology provider SunGard has appointed Chris Clark as European senior vice president for its Astec Analytics business unit, which specialises in trading, perfomrmance and program management for the global securities financing industry.

In his new role, Mr. Clark will represent Astec Analytics in EMEA, servicing current customers, expanding the customer base and maximizing synergies with other SunGard solutions. The appointment further demonstrates SunGard’s commitment to enhancing its securities finance solutions and services across Europe.

Mr. Clark joins SunGard with more than two decades of securities finance experience. Prior to SunGard, he has worked for DLJ, Credit Suisse and ABN Amro in equity finance trading and senior client relationship roles, and was a founding member of London Global Securities. More recently, he has worked on independent consultancy projects advising on and teaching the fundamentals and complicated equity financing structures to the professional community.
