Jim Cirenza to join Olivetree Securities as CEO of US subsidiary

Olivetree Securities Limited has appointed Jim Cirenza as CEO of its US subsidiary, Olivetree USA, LLC, where he will be responsible for business development in the US.

Mr Cirenza joins from Carnegie Investment Bank, where he was Global Head of Securities: Equity and Fixed Income. In addition to his business career, Mr Cirenza has also been a Guest Lecturer on equity capital markets and career preparation at Tufts, Cornell and the Oslo School of Business. 

“I am excited to join an entrepreneurial group of professionals, at an early stage of the company’s development, whose sole focus is providing a unique client service,” Mr Cirenza said. “I particularly admire the emphasis placed on building trust through client confidentiality and the avoidance of conflicts of interests that forms such a fundamental part of Olivetree’s business model.”

Mr Cirenza has prior experience as Head of European Sales Trading in the US at JP Morgan, Head of International Sales Trading in the US at Barclays Bank BZW and Head of International Equities in the US at NatWest Markets.

He began his career at Goldman Sachs.
